Elba Medina Quintana

Attorney Elba E. Medina Quintana was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, the youngest of 4 siblings. While her mother worked in the Veterans Administration, helping veterans reclaim their rights, her father worked and studied. After years of hard work, her father became a lawyer. Elba learned hard work, to love helping the community, and the importance of education from her parents. Her greatest satisfaction is helping her clients and that they find a familiar and trusting atmosphere in our offices.

Attorney Elba received a bachelor’s in Telecommunications from the University of Sagrado Corazon in Santurce, Puerto Rico. After dedicating six years of working in communications in various sporting events like Juegos Centroamericanos and Caribe Ponce 93, Panamericanos de Argentina 95, Centroamericanos de Atletismo 97, etc. While working for the company Sports International as an International Sales representative, she decided to achieve her dream of becoming a lawyer.

In 1997, she started her studies in the school of Derecho de la Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Ponce, where she obtained her title of Juris Doctor. In January 2002, she was sworn in as a lawyer and started her career in the Medina & Medina law firm alongside her father and brother. During those nine years, she dedicated her practice to Family and Civil cases, among others.

In 2011, She moved to Houston, Texas, where she started her practice in immigration and began working for the Rivera y Bujosa Law Office PLLC. The goal and purpose of the law firm are to help the immigrant Latino community obtain legal status in the United States. Attorney Elba dedicates herself to giving her clients personalized and professional service alongside her legal team.
